Blaupunkt wins the iF Design Award 2025

Rödinghausen. HK Appliances GmbH was honoured with the renowned international iF Design Award 2025 for its Blaupunkt induction hob with integrated extractor fan 5IX99300. This is the third award Blaupunkt has received this year.


More freedom through modern functionality
With the iF Design Award, the jury recognised the outstanding creation and design quality of the Induction hob with integrated extractor fan 5IX99300 in the Kitchen Appliances product category. The built-in appliance impressed the international expert jury, which consisted of 131 independent design professionals, with its pioneering aesthetics and outstanding functionality. In its statement, the jury emphasised the great freedom that the modern extractor hood offers users both in cooking and in kitchen design. In terms of design, the jury praised the aesthetic contrast between aluminium in dark steel look and elegant glass as well as the discreet control element, which is not visible when the appliance is off and features a modern LED display in white.


An award with a high level of competition
The iF Design Award has been presented for over 70 years by iF International Forum Design GmbH, one of the oldest independent design organisations in the world. This puts Blaupunkt among the best of almost 11,000 products submitted from 66 countries – an impressive achievement that emphasises the highly competitive nature of this award. The 5IX99300 induction hob had previously won two Plus X Awards.
