This year's Häcker in-house exhibition, which will be held from 16 - 22/09/23 in Rödinghausen, is dedicated to the development of new products and services.A major theme of the new products is inspiration through colour, from the colour diversity of the NCS spectrum to the special black edition of the new "Climber" cabinet, along with a guest lecture.
PURE INSPIRATION – The motto of this year's Häcker in-house exhibition refers not only to new inspirations around the living and home-economy space, but also to inspiration through and with colours.
Guest lecture by Karl Johan Bertilsson
Karl Johan Bertilsson, Creative Director at NCS Colour, will give a guest lecture (in English) on 20 September on the topic of 2024 Colour Trends. In his talk, he will shed light on the many possibilities of colour design and its effects. Since last year, Häcker has offered the option of painting Häcker kitchens in the systemat product line with NCS colours. This means that customers have a choice of over 1,950 colour shades, supplemented by 190 RAL colours.
New front colours from amaranth to carbon metallic
At the in-house exhibition, Häcker presents some inspiring new front colours, from olive green, greige and amaranth of the new SCALA front family to the velvet oak decors of CALGARY and the SMART colours (metallic sand grey, metallic stone grey and metallic carbon), which lend urban elegance to earthy tones with its metallic sheen. Häcker is also expanding the decor spectrum of its worktops at the in-house exhibition, from new oak decors (torino oak effect, venezia oak effect) to the elegant green marble effect and sandy-warm limestone effect.
Product innovations in Black Design
Among the new products, a special colourful feature in our cabinet variants is the so-called Climber, which now exclusively comes in the "Black Edition". Available as a wall-mounted or top-mounted cabinet, the Climber dazzles with an elegant glass roller shutter that automatically opens and closes via sensor switch. Special feature of this exclusive design: everything shines black down to the smallest detail, from the dark Parsol glass shelves to the black shelf supports and the black sensor switch to the 130 mm high glass slats, which are optionally tinted black or matte black. This produces a consistently coherent overall design that exudes utter elegance and refinement through colour and material. The Climber thus demonstrates the magical effect of an all-black design. Since black as a kitchen design colour enjoys consistently high popularity, Häcker has added further black elements to its product range. For example, the Qanto, an electrically extendable functional corner, is now available in black. The product range is also supplemented by black accessories in the area of plinth design, which significantly expand the possibilities of a uniform Black Design in kitchen planning.
Wall design in invigorating colours
But it is not just furniture that produces inspiring ambiences through its colour scheme – wall design also plays a key part here. In the field of decorative splashback design, Häcker has thus included both a continuous black recess back panel with two delicate, enchanting relief patterns (Valega black, Ovar black) in the range, and a trendy cube pattern in three lively colours (Cube olive green, Cube greige, Cube amaranth).
Häcker Kitchens – The Company
The traditional company Häcker Kitchens was founded in 1898 as a cabinet maker by Hermann Häcker and continued into the next generation by Friedrich Häcker.
