Rödinghausen. Häcker Küchen GmbH & Co. KG has been honoured with the ‘Best of Design 2026’ award by the renowned home and lifestyle magazine ‘Schöner Wohnen’ for its AV 3050 granite-effect laminate front from the ‘systemat’ product range. Last year, Häcker also received the coveted design award for its AV 6085-GL wood veneer front in a Rattan-inspired design.
Sophisticated matt-gloss effect
The award-winning AV 3050 HPL front, which was added to the systemat range in 2024, expands the product line with a new generation of high-quality stone finishes. The granite reproductions impress with an innovative interplay of visual and tactile qualities: partial gloss effects are precisely matched to the underlying decorative pattern and create sophisticated accents that open unique design possibilities. At the same time, the front impresses with a distinctive tactile feel, allowing the authentic stone-like appearance to be experienced through touch as well.
Exclusive aesthetics in 3 colours
With the dark grey granite and beige granite finishes, the AV 3050 front offers versatile design possibilities. Whilst beige branite, with its subtle, gentle nuances, exudes harmonious elegance and cosy warmth, dark grey granite offers a high-contrast texture that radiates modern elegance and self-assured clarity. In both variants, the finish captures the characteristic texture of real granite and impresses with its excellent aesthetic appeal. To complement these, turquoise granite effect is available as an additional worktop finish, whose colour accents can be combined superbly with both subtle grey and beige tones and more intense colour shades.
Authentic material appearance meets everyday practicality
The AV 3050 combines the fascinating appeal of natural stone with the practical advantages of modern HPL surfaces. The high-quality finishes enable sophisticated design concepts with the refined look of real granite. At the same time, the surfaces impress with their high durability and valuable anti-fingerprint properties in the predominantly matt areas.
With this product range, Häcker demonstrates how design, materiality and functionality can be combined to create a contemporary approach to surface design. The high-quality ‘systemat’ fronts in HPL material reflect current interior design trends and offer an exclusive yet practical solution for modern kitchen planning.
“This award from SCHÖNER WOHNEN confirms our commitment to combining exceptional design with high functionality and a compelling material aesthetic. With this award, the jury is recognising a front that interprets the aesthetics of granite in a contemporary way whilst bringing high-quality kitchen design to life for a wide variety of design concepts,” explains Karin Padinger, Head of Marketing and Interior Design.
Recognition from a renowned design jury
For Häcker, the award is further proof of the company’s high level of design and
innovation expertise. Last year, the AV 6085-GL wood veneer front in a rattan-inspired design was honoured with the coveted ‘Best of Design’ Award, an accolade presented annually by the home and lifestyle magazine SCHÖNER WOHNEN since 2022. The award honours products that, in addition to their compelling design, also
meet criteria such as functionality, sustainability and ergonomics. A three-member expert jury decides on the winners.
